High Specialty health personnel receive first dose of Covid-19 vaccine

1,140 workers of the High Specialty Medical Units (UMAE) were inoculated during the second Covid-19 vaccination day this Sunday, December 27 in Mexico City, reported the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS).

The workers went to the vaccination module, installed in the Heroico Colegio Militar de Tlalpan to receive their first dose.

They were doctors, doctors, nurses, nurses and personnel from the UMAE, the General Hospital, Specialties and Infectology of the La Raza National Medical Center; also, from the Hospital de Especialidades del Centro M├ędico Nacional Siglo XXI, those summoned in this second day of vaccination.

Social Security announced that next Tuesday, December 29, it will vaccinate the medical staff and nursing staff of the Second Level hospitals, which are in a humanitarian way in the first line of attention against pandemic.

It should be remembered that after receiving the first dose of the biological made by Pfizer BioNTech, workers must go 21 days later to the Covid-19 vaccination module to receive the second and last dose.
