Guarded was ruled out to face Atlético

After participating with the Mexican National Team, Andrés Guardado recovers from an overload so he will not be against Atlético de Madrid

Betis coach, Chilean Manuel Pellegrini, this Friday ruled out forward Borja Iglesias and Mexican midfielder Andrés Guarded for next Sunday’s game against Atlético de Madrid at Benito Villamarín.

At a press conference, Pellegrini commented that, although both are progressing in the recovery of their respective injuries, they will not arrive in conditions on Sunday and will be for the next league match of the Verdiblancos against Valencia at Villamarín.

Borja Iglesias was injured last Sunday against Elche in the play that gave rise to the penalty that he himself scored, after which they put six staples in the quadriceps, while Guarded is recovering from an overload in the adductor that occurred with the Mexico team and that prevented him from playing for Martínez Valero.

In addition to Borja Iglesias and Guarded, he will also be out against Atlético de Madrid is the central Víctor Ruiz, who saw the fifth card of his first cycle against Elche and will have to serve a penalty game.
