The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJ-CDMX) reported the arrest of Francisco Alejandro “N”, who served as director of Instruments for Urban Development, of the Secretariat of Urban Development and Housing (Seduvi), during the capital administration of Miguel Angel Mancera.
Francisco Alejandro “N” is investigated for the probable commission of the crime of illegal use of powers and powers.
According to the investigation, Francisco Alejandro “N” possibly issued an opinion authorizing the constitution of an action area, where he allowed the construction of nine levels of parking on the sidewalk, in addition to the 21 authorized housing levels, without that were quantifiable for constructive potential.
The FGJ-CDMX highlighted that the aforementioned action contravenes the provisions of paragraph 10 of the General Regulations, to form part of the Urban Development Law of the Federal District and the General Urban Development Program of the Federal District, published in the Official Gazette of the Federal District, dated April 8, 2005, since the levels for parking above the curb must be quantifiable within the area to be built.
Investigations by the capital city agency indicate that it possibly authorized 48 irregular works, between 2017 and 2018, and which probably also granted permits for the development of a 34-story tower in Paseo de los Laureles, in the Bosques de las Lomas neighborhood, whose property had been authorized for the construction of only six single-family homes of four levels of height, so the suspect has four arrest warrants against him.
