WASHINGTON, March 30 (Reuters) – Millions of Americans could be rehired next summer if current trends continue and progress against the pandemic continues, Atlanta Federal Reserve Chairman Raphael Bostic said on Tuesday.
“We could see an explosion of activity … in the summer that could lead to an even stronger recovery,” Bostic said in comments to the Atlanta World Affiars Council. “One million jobs a month could become the standard over the summer.”
