Family attacked medical personnel in Tlaxcala for not providing them with immediate attention

The Attorney General’s Office of Tlaxcala reported this Saturday that an investigation folder was started by the injury crime After the events that occurred on Friday at the Emilio Sánchez Piedras Regional Hospital, where a fight took place that was recorded on video and was broadcast on social networks.

According to the Tlaxcala Ministry of Health (SESA), on the night of Friday, December 25, a 30-year-old patient, identified as Carlos “N”, arrived at the hospital accompanied by a woman and aggressively demanded immediate attention.

Before his attitude, a vigilante intervened but the situation escalated with screams and blows. As seen in the video, the guards faced beatings with the man and the woman, who were identified as originating from Ecatepec and removed from the place by elements of the Municipal Police.

This Saturday afternoon, the Tlaxcala prosecutor’s office reported on its Twitter account that “derived from the attacks at the Regional Hospital of Tzompantepec, the #MP Agent initiated an investigation for the crime of injuries and those resulting in victimization of an element of private security of the hospital with moderate head trauma ”.

The director of the hospital, Sofía Romero Hernández, said that the guard is hospitalized and waiting to be transferred to a hospital of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS).
