According to the dates established in the 2021-2022 first admission calendar, this Wednesday, January 6, 2021, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) published the official call for registration to the bachelor entrance exam. Interested applicants have five days to complete their registration through the website of the General Directorate of School Administration (DGAE).
The registration of applicants who will take the entrance exam from February 20 to March 9, 2021 has been enabled from today. In this sense, the last day to register online is the January 10, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. Central Mexico. Similarly, once the online registration is completed, they must complete the payment for the right to examination selection from today and until 3:59 p.m. on January 11, 2021.
HOW TO REGISTER ONLINE
After having read in their entirety the Call and the Instructions issued by the institution, the applicants must accept the terms and conditions. Then, they must follow the instructions on the page to create “Your site”. At this point it will be necessary to register an email and password. Said data will be necessary to enter the site in each of the future stages.
Once completed, the applicant must download, save and print the registration voucher.
It is important to register through a personal computer and not through cell phones or tablets. Similarly, in order to avoid the theft of personal data through apocryphal sites, it is advisable to go directly to the page www.dgae.unam.mx and do not access through search engines.
PAYMENT OF FEES FOR THE EXAM
The bank deposit slip will be available only after the registration process has been completed. In this way, it can be consulted in the section “Deposit form” and must be printed as soon as possible. In case of not being able to print it, it is recommended to save it or consult it in the mentioned tab. This document will be available until January 11, 2021, the deadline for making the payment at Santander bank.
The document to make the payment is personal and non-transferable. DIn this way, the deposit is valid, only, for the exam scheduled in said call, not later. It is also important to corroborate the data on the file, that is, full name and 11-character reference number, in order to complete the process.
– In case of living in the Mexican Republic, Payment can be made at any Santander branch, coming with the deposit slip and the exact amount of $440. In this case, it will be necessary to go to the bank’s windows and not do it at the ATMs.
Due to the measures that recommend the restriction of mobility due to the health emergency due to COVID-19, A bank transfer can be made through CLABE 014180655015333065. In this case, the reference number will be entered in the field “CONCEPT”, without any other text. Upon completion, it is recommended to take a screenshot.
– In case of living abroad, The applicant must cover the payment for the right to the applicant’s selection and identification examination for the amount equivalent to $ 440 MXN. TAKING PHOTOGRAPH AND BIOMETRIC DATA
If the registration of photography and biometric data is necessary, people will be notified to the email address registered in the system. Through said medium, the corresponding indications will be sent to them to comply with the requirement.
Upon completion of the registration and the procedures indicated by the UNAM, through the DGAE, Applicants must present the selection exam in the place, day and time indicated in the Ballot-Credential.
The results will be published on March 24, 2021 and they may be consulted at the electronic address www.dgae.unam.mx.
For the call just published, UNAM will offer 9,148 places to study one of its 129 careers distributed in four areas of knowledge. According to the statistics of the institution, in February 2020 147,430 were registered, although only 8,955 people were accepted in the face-to-face modality.
The next call entry level at the undergraduate level will be published in April 2021.
