Dario Rojas Macías, former governor of Naucalpan, dies of COVID-19

The politician of Naucalpan and ex-governor of said demarcation Darío Rojas Macías passed away this Friday due to complications from COVID-19.

Rojas Macías I was a member of the party Brunette, as well as an activist and social fighter for his community. He lost his life at the age of 61, after he was admitted to the General Zone Hospital of the Mexican Institute of Social Security in Naucalpan.

According to the Secretary of Health of the State of Mexico, Naucalpan is the fourth municipality with the highest positive cases of coronavrius, registering 8,685 patients. It is surpassed by Ecatepec, with 15 thousand 395, Nezahualcóyotl, with 11 thousand 752 and Toluca with 10 thousand 163 until December 25, 2020.

While Nacucalpan registers 791 deaths in people with COVID-19, which places it in third place in the entity with the highest deaths from coronavirus. The first place is for Ecatepec, with 1,662 deaths and Toluca, with 1,173 deaths from this disease.
