Sergio Uñac, governor of San Juan, communicated this morning through social networks that he underwent the coronavirus test and that he is ill. In his official accounts, he posted: “I want to tell you that during the morning I have been notified as positive Covid-19. I feel fine, doing the corresponding checks. I will comply with the isolation and with each of the precautions to take care of my health and that of everyone”.





Likewise, the president, who he was admitted to a hospital, He affirmed that he will continue working and asked the people of San Juan, in the middle of the festivities for the end of the year, to continue taking care of themselves.




The positive for Uñac was confirmed after he presented symptoms compatible with Covid-19, hours after the virtual meeting starring President Alberto Fernández and the governors of the entire country, in which the start of the operation to vaccinate the first Argentines with the Sputnik V. “I want to congratulate you Alberto Fernández,” he said in yesterday’s meeting, according to what was published by Telam, and considered that “having been able to distribute the doses throughout the Argentine territory shows that this is a truly federal project.”

After his post on social networks from the government of the province they issued a statement in which they detailed that “the corresponding checks were carried out at the Rawson Hospital” and that therefore the health team decided to hospitalize him in the Covid Area for better control of his evolution.


In the framework of the operation, San Juan will receive 4700 doses that will be applied in a first stage to medical personnel.
