The Ministry of Health indicated this Wednesday that 3,521 are interned in intensive care units, with an occupancy percentage of adult beds of 54.3% in the country and 58.5% in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.

49.61% (6,669 people) of those infected (13,441) correspond to the City and Province of Buenos Aires.

Of the 1,676,171 infected, 87.94% (1,474,048) were discharged and 158,147 are confirmed active cases.

The evening report recorded that 102 men died, 53 residents in the province of Buenos Aires; 15 in the City of Buenos Aires; 3 in Chaco; 3 in Córdoba; 1 resident in the province of Corrientes; 3 in Entre Ríos; 1 in Mendoza; 4 in Río Negro; 1 in San Juan; 5 in Santa Cruz; 11 in Santa Fe; and 2 in Tierra del Fuego.

5,251 cases were registered in the province of Buenos Aires; in the City of Buenos Aires, 1,418; in Catamarca, 39; in Chaco, 274; in Chubut, 486; in Corrientes, 205; in Córdoba, 914; in Entre Ríos, 534; in Formosa, 7; in Jujuy, 14; in La Pampa, 402; in La Rioja, 9; in Mendoza, 157; in Misiones, 4; in Neuquén, 568; in Río Negro, 381; in Salta, 50; in San Juan, 113; in San Luis, 62; in Santa Cruz, 461; in Santa Fe, 1,511; in Santiago del Estero, 181; Tierra del Fuego, 171; and in Tucumán 229.

In the last 24 hours, 49,116 tests were carried out and since the beginning of the outbreak 5,050,350 diagnostic tests for this disease were carried out, which is equivalent to 111,298 samples per million inhabitants.

The total accumulated by district indicates that the province of Buenos Aires totals 704,014 cases; the City of Buenos Aires, 180,433; Catamarca, 2,969; Chaco, 25,897; Chubut, 33,838; Corrientes, 12,840; Cordoba 130,503; Entre Ríos, 31,501; Formosa, 233; Jujuy, 18,602; La Pampa, 12,341; La Rioja, 9,146; Mendoza, 60,711; Missions, 1,166; Neuquen, 43,472; Rio Negro, 40,125; Salta, 22,509; San Juan, 12,000; St. Louis, 16,397; Santa Cruz, 25,699; Santa Fe, 181,845; Santiago del Estero, 18,032; Tierra del Fuego, 19,839; and Tucumán, 72,059.

17 existing cases are included in the Malvinas Islands according to press information (due to the illegal occupation of the United Kingdom, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, it is not possible to have our own information on the impact of Covid-19 in that part of the Argentine territory ).
