The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Saturday that During the last three days, 187 deaths and 14,402 new positive cases of COVID-19 were registered in the country. With these data, the total number of infected amounts to 1,578,267 and fatalities total 42,501.

During December 24 and 25, 10,689 cases were reported. This Saturday, the number of infected was 3,713. As for deaths, 79 correspond to this day and the remaining 108 as of last Thursday and Friday.

Of the 79 deaths today, 43 are men (25 from the province of Buenos Aires, one from the city of Buenos Aires, two from Chaco, four from Córdoba, one from Corrientes, one from La Rioja, one from Mendoza, two from Río Negro and six from Santa Fe) and 36 women (14 from the province of Buenos Aires, one from the city of Buenos Aires, two from Chaco, two from Corrientes, five from La Rioja, one from Santa Cruz and 11 from Santa Fe).

Of the total cases reported on Saturday, 1,343 are from the province of Buenos Aires, 375 from the city of Buenos Aires, 23 from Catamarca, 63 from Chaco, 215 from Chubut, 24 from Corrientes, 163 from Córdoba, 85 from Entre Ríos , two from Jujuy, 182 from La Pampa, four from La Rioja, 53 from Mendoza, 43 from Misiones, 102 from Neuquén, 163 from Río Negro, 25 from Salta, 12 from San Juan, six from San Luis, 159 from Santa Cruz , 423 from Santa Fe, 47 from Santiago del Estero, 124 from Tierra del Fuego and 77 from Tucumán.
