Covid-19 infections exceeded the highest figure that had occurred since the pandemic began, with 13 thousand 345 confirmed infections compared to the previous day and placing the accumulated at 1 million 479 thousand 835 infected people, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
The deceased amounted to 129 thousand 987, which means 1,165 people who lost their lives compared to Tuesday, January 5.
In addition, the entities that exceeded 70% of general bed occupancy went to six, compared to the previous day, which had five.
