MÉRIDA.- Through the daily report, the Ministry of Health announced this Christmas 75 new infections of Covid-19 in Yucatán.

Today there are 160 patients in public hospitals with Covid-19. 22,363 patients have already recovered: they do not present symptoms nor can they infect. This figure represents 85% of the total registered infections, which are 26,071.

The distribution of cases in the State

  • 55 in Mérida,
  • 4 in Kanasín and Valladolid,
  • 3 in Umán,
  • 2 in Progress, and
  • 1 in Conkal, Motul, Telchac Pueblo, Temozón, Ticul, Tinum and Tizimín.

Of the 26,071 positive cases, 221 are from another country or state.

1.- 73-year-old female from Mérida HAS
2.- FeMenino 43 years of Mérida Without comorbiditys
3.- Male 57 years old from Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo IRC / DM
4.- Male 57 years of Merida COPD
5.- 87-year-old female from Mérida SAH / COPD / DM
6.- 56-year-old male from Mérida HAS / Obesity
7.- 71-year-old female from Mérida HAS / DM / Obesity

Abbreviations: SYSTEMIC HYPERTENSION (HAS), MELLITUS DIABETES (DM) and CHRONIC KIDNEY FAILURE (CKD).

In total, there are 2,863 people who died from the Coronavirus.

Of the active cases, 685 are stable, isolated, constantly monitored by SSY medical personnel; have mild symptoms.

The age range of the cases is from 1 month to 99 years.
