Various areas of Mexico City and the State of Mexico recorded this Monday the suspension of electric power service.
The blackouts reported affect areas of the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office, neighborhoods such as Polanco, Narvarte, Guerrero. And also in areas of municipalities such as Neza and Coacalco.
In a tour carried out by EL UNIVERSAL in the Juan Escutia and Raúl Romero neighborhoods in the limits of Neza and the Iztapalapa mayor’s office, the residents have taken to the streets due to the lack of electricity and telephone service.
Inhabitants of the Agrícola Oriental neighborhood in the Iztacalco mayor’s office also report failures in the electricity supply.
The service was reestablished in colonies such as Guerrero, in the central area of the Mexican capital, and in Tacubaya, to the west of the city.
The power outage also occurred in the downtown area of Monterrey, Nuevo León and in municipalities such as Apodaca, Cadereyta, San Nicolás and in some areas of Ciudad Guadalupe.
