Broke out of jail – angry mob beats serial child murderer to death

He fled from custody two days ago – the population was looking for revenge.

The serial child killer is in the East African country Masten Wanjala (20) beaten to death by an angry mob.

The man was recognized on Friday morning in his hometown by children on the way to school, said a spokesman for the authorities. The news got around very quickly – then a crowd followed.

Administration chief Bonface Ndiema: “In the end he ran into a neighboring house, but he was pulled out and lynched.” Wanjala escaped from custody on Wednesday shortly before a court hearing in Nairobi.

He was arrested in July for the murder of two children. During interrogation, he confessed to the murder of at least ten other children – and led investigators to the bodies of the victims.

According to the police, he is said to have “drawn the blood out of the veins” of some of his victims. He is said to have disposed of the corpses in the undergrowth or in sewers. Several of the bodies could never be found.

Wanjala posed as a soccer coach to the children – only to lure them into remote areas and ambush them. In some cases, he took them hostage to extort ransom.
