Brazil coffee exports fall 7% in April, says Cecafe

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Brazil exported 3.03 million 60-kg bags of green coffee in April, 7% less than in the same month of 2020, the exporters association Cecafe reported on Tuesday in a monthly report.

Cecafe director Nicolás Rueda said that the restrictions linked to COVID-19 and the shortage of container availability remain challenges for the Brazilian coffee export sector, despite the relatively large volume shipped in April.
