He Body of Ana Gómez, a 21-year-old girl, who was raped and murdered in Carmen beach, arrived this Thursday at El Suspiro community, where he left seven months ago to look for work in the state of Quintana Roo.
Ana disappeared on December 18, when she left work at the Hard Rock Hotel, in Carmen beach and since then feminist collectives that learned of the case began to mobilize to find his whereabouts.
Sebastián Gómez, father of the young woman who worked as a private security agent, traveled to Playa del Carmen until Ana’s body was found on a street that leads to Hard Rock.

On Wednesday afternoon, Ana’s body left for El Suspiro, a community located 28 kilometers east of the municipal seat of Ocosingo, this Thursday that is her birthday.
To receive the body, indigenous Tzeltal men and women gathered at the village entrance with flowers.
The body will be veiled at the young woman’s house and this Friday, January 1, she will be buried in the community’s pantheon.
For these events, the Quintana Roo Prosecutor’s Office detained Carlos Alberto “N”, 23, an indigenous person from Chiapas, who worked as a security agent in Hard Rock.
The Municipal Police of Ocosingo escorted the vehicle that was transporting Ana’s body.
