Bayern Munich has already found the replacement for Hansi Flick, who will leave the bench at the end of the season, he is Julian Nagelsmann
Julian Nagelsmann, the current coach of RB Leipzig, will be from this July the new coach of Bayern Munich, in the most expensive transfer of a Bundesliga coach, the Bavarian club reported on Tuesday in a statement.
The 33-year-old Bundesliga revelation coach has closed an agreement with the club for five seasons for which Bayern could pay, according to German media coincidentally, up to 25 million euros if all bonuses are included agreed.
The member of the board of directors of FC Bayern and next president of the club, Oliver Kahn, was “convinced” that the new manager will contribute to “successfully build” the “sporting future” of the team.
The current president, Herbert Hainer, assured that Nagelsmann belongs to “a new generation of coaches” and that, “despite his youth”, he has already shown an “impressive career”.
“We are convinced that with Julian Nagelsmann we will continue with the great successes of the previous years“Hainer added.
Nagelsmann replaces Hansi Flick, who recently announced his intention to leave the bench from the Bavarian club at the end of this season.
The sports diary “Kicker“, which already pointed to Nagelsmann as the only candidate to replace Flick, warned that the price of the transfer will make it difficult for the Bavarian team to sign” spectacular “signings.
Nagelsmann, the youngest coach in the Bundesliga, reached the first category in 2016 with Hoffenheim (and only 28 years old), which he led to the Champions League in one season.
In 2019 he jumped to RB Leipzig, which he has also taken twice in a row to European competitions; last year, until the semifinals of the Champions League.
