The union leader of the Buenos Aires teachers is “stable.”
The secretary general of the Unified Union of Education Workers of Buenos Aires (Suteba), Roberto Baradel, was admitted to the Italian hospital in La Plata because he contracted coronavirus, union sources reported.
Baradel entered the hospital on December 28 with some lines of fever and, after undergoing the control, he tested positive for Covid-19, for which he had to remain hospitalized in that health center.
According to the sources, the union leader of the Buenos Aires teachers is “stable.”
In a message that he addressed in the last hours, through social networks, Baradel expressed his appreciation for the work of teachers.
“I want to express my appreciation and admiration to all the teaching staff in the province and throughout the country for ensuring the continuity of all learning and for delivering food modules in a very difficult context such as the pandemic,” he said.
