Bad weather restricts grain shipments in main Ukrainian ports

KYIV, Apr 27 (Reuters) – Ukraine’s main ports leading to the Black Sea had to restrict their shipping operations due to heavy rains in the area, the state port authority said on Tuesday.

The agency said unfavorable weather was impacting port activity in the Odessa, Mykolayiv and Reni regions.

Ukraine is among the world’s leading grain exporters and plans to ship over 45 million tonnes of various cereals abroad in the 2020/2021 season ending in June.
