Axel Kicillof, one of the first to apply the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against the coronavirus

Minutes before the coronavirus vaccination operation officially begins throughout the country, the Buenos Aires governor, Axel Kicillof, together with his Deputy Minister of Health, Nicolás Kreplak, were two of the first people to apply Sputnik V developed by Russia .

Just a few minutes after 8:30, the provincial president left the San Martín de La Plata Hospital and posed next to Kreplak, with their respective cards in hand that prove that they were immunized with the first dose of the vaccine.

During the day on Monday, the Buenos Aires government confirmed that in this first stage of the plan the vaccination of men and women in the health system is foreseen, while the next phase will include security and education workers; people over 60 years old and those between 18 and 59 years old who are at risk groups for presenting pre-existing diseases.

Likewise, although the most vulnerable population will be prioritized, registration will be open to anyone who wants to register and receive information on the provincial vaccination plan.

In the page “Buenos Aires Vacunate” the interested parties will have to complete the personal data and the system will grant an appointment. Likewise, it is clarified that it is a public, free and optional plan, and there will be 313 exclusive vaccination points throughout the provincial territory.

For the first stage of vaccination, You must be between 18 and 59 years old and be able to prove pre-existing diseases, or be over 60, work in the health system, be a police officer, teacher or assistant.

According to a statement from the Buenos Aires government, among the 101 hospitals where the vaccination of intensive care personnel will be carried out are the José de San Martín de Adolfo Alsina Municipal Hospital; Local Hospital Gral. Anita Elicagaray, from Gonzales Chaves; the HIGA “Dr. José Penna”, Bahía Blanca; the María Eva Duarte de Perón Local General Hospital, Coronel Dorrego and the Dr. Manuel B. Cabrera Municipal Hospital, Coronel Pringles.

The vaccination will also begin at the Dr. Ignacio Pirovano Municipal Health Center, Tres Arroyos; the Zonal Hospital Dr. Juan Carlos Aramburu, Pehuajó; the HIEMI “Don Victorio Tetamanti”, by General Pueyrredon; the Ricardo León de Dios Municipal Hospital, La Costa; the Coronel Vidal Hospital, Mar Chiquita and the Dr. Emilio Ferreyra Municipal Hospital, Necochea and the Ramón Santamarina Municipal Hospital, in Tandil.

The first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine will also be applied at the “Magdalena V. de Martínez” HZGA, Tigre; the Central Hospital of Pediatrics Dr. Claudio Zin, from Malvinas Argentinas; the HZG “Manuel Belgrano”, General San Martín and the HIGA “Eva Perón”, General San Martín.

In the city of La Plata, the HIGA “Prof. Dr. Rodolfo Rossi” hospitals, La Plata; HIGA “General San Martín”, La Plata; HIGA “San Roque”, La Plata; HSE “Elina de la Serna de Montes”, La Plata; HZE “Dr. Noel H. Sbarra”, La Plata; HZGA “” Dr. Ricardo Gutiérrez “, La Plata; HIAE in Pediatrics” Superiora Sor María Ludovica “, La Plata and the HIEAC Neuropsychiatric” Dr. Alejandro Korn “, La Plata.

In the municipality of Ensenada, in the HZEC “El Dique” and the HZGA “Dr. Horacio Cestino”; and in the city of Berisso in the HZGA “Dr. Mario Víctor Larrain”.

In the La Matanza party, the vaccination will be applied in the HIGA “Surgeon Major Dr. Diego Paroissien”; the HZGA “Dr. Alberto Balestrini”; the HIGA “Simply Evita” by Gonzalez Catán and the Dra. Teresa Luisa Germani Maternal and Child Hospital, among others.
