He probably would not have survived, because in addition to the loss of his mother, his right hind paw was missing. This probably arose when it was born and prevented the animal from moving. It also caused pain.

It was lucky for him that he came to the “Friends of the Koala” veterinary clinic. Because there a special paw prosthesis was made for him. It was invented by a local dentist who took an impression of Triumph’s stump and made a replacement out of rubber and Velcro.
