In recent years, the implementation of new technologies boosted the average harvest rate in crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat and sunflower. In addition, new technologies and agricultural machinery have become one of the key segments of the production sector, since they not only provide agility, but are also a driving force that provides dynamism to agriculture and the national economy.

In this sense, the new methods of sowing and harvesting make possible the reconversion and the strong contributions of technology in the sector. These factors, in turn, help the industry to be progressively recognized in the international market for its quality and technology. At the national level, there are numerous machines that allow a more inclusive approach to the processes of the production system.

Thus, in parallel to the structural changes in production models, agriculture was able to position itself as one of the most thriving sectors in the economic sphere. In this process, the artificial intelligence of companies that are constantly in search of new tools that allow to promote agriculture and be at the forefront has contributed to a great extent: there is Case IH.

“Artificial intelligence undoubtedly comes to gain important spaces within current agriculture (Agriculture 4.0) and will be the protagonist of agriculture 5.0 along with automation. Argentina, as one of the main grain producers and technology demanding, demands a rapid adaptation of technologies, ”said Rodrigo Alandia, Case IH Marketing Manager.

The harvest is on the right track, said the executive, with important yields and good expectations in relation to prices. This, in turn, allows an optimistic outlook and with favorable prospects for this year in the machinery sector.

Technology is the ideal tool to continue growing, not only in productivity and yields, but also in agronomic and field management. “Today, producers use technologies in practically the entire crop cycle, from seed, fertilizers, phytosanitary products and, obviously, machines, which is where Case IH plays an important role, delivering comprehensive solutions to the Argentine countryside, not only with high-tech products but also with innovative products with excellence in quality ”. Hand in hand with the new launches that Case IH will carry out during this month of April in Argentina, the country’s producer will be at the level of the most advanced in the world. “The Argentine producer and contractor is a priority for Case IH, we only ask that you wait for us a few more days and you will be able to see what you have been waiting for a long time and that you will have available to add to your daily work. The Argentine producer and contractor will undoubtedly increase its level of efficiency, improve operating costs and increase its profitability thanks to Case IH ”, said Alandia.

The agricultural machinery sector

According to the Chamber of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturer (Cafma), in the current park it is estimated that there are 20,000 harvesters in potential use. Faced with this scenario, the sector indicates that Argentina is one of the most technified countries in the region. “Compared to the rest of the world, in Argentina the figure of the contractor represents approximately 70% of the machine park, unlike the rest. Most of the contractors are looking for high technology in order to obtain greater operational capacity of the equipment with high quality of the work carried out ”, he said.

It is known that the Argentine producer is recognized throughout the world for his efficiency and has always been a “early adopter” of the latest technology for the sector. “It really is a model in that sense. We can only hope that it continues in the same way, seeking maximum efficiency and outperforming itself campaign after campaign, ”observed the Case IH Marketing Manager.

In recent years, the field has been developing exclusive solutions to meet market demands. Through new artificial intelligence systems, we seek to obtain higher performance and productivity, with lower operating costs, but that also allow a high percentage of operational autonomy, better yields, and essentially the conservation of the quality of the grains.

“Our expectation is to follow a growth trend, sequencing our introduction of products and solutions to improve the development of the Argentine countryside. We will have news soon and we look forward to sharing them with you ”, he synthesized.
