The State Prosecutor’s Office managed to link the person arrested during the investigation into the murder of the former Jalisco governor, Jorge Aristóteles Sandoval.
In a statement, the Prosecutor’s Office reported that Raúl “N” was linked to the crime of bribery after on December 22 he was arrested in an apartment tower in the hotel zone of Puerto Vallarta for offering money to ministerial staff to let him escape; detention derived from the investigations into the murder of the former governor of Jalisco.
Raúl “N” was charged on December 24 before a Puerto Vallarta control judge, accepted after 144 hours, so this Tuesday the hearing in which the evidence against him was presented was resumed, for the crime mentioned above.
After the hearing took place, the judge who had knowledge of the case considered that the Public Ministry presented sufficient evidence data against Raúl “N” for which he was linked to the process, setting as a precautionary measure justified preventive detention for eight months and giving four months for the closure of the complementary investigation.
The investigations to find those responsible for the murder of Sandoval Díaz continue to advance and the Jalisco society will be informed as more data is obtained on the material and intellectual responsible for these events.
