SÃO PAULO, Apr 27 (Reuters) – Brazil’s soybean exports could add 15.78 million tons in April, the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) estimated on Tuesday, reducing the peak of its projection compared to the previous week, although the volume still represents a monthly record.
Last week, the outlook indicated that exports could amount to 16.79 million tonnes. The floor of Anec’s projection remained at 14 million tons, according to data based on the scheduling of the vessels.
In April 2020, soybean exports reached an all-time high of 14.28 million tonnes. Thus, if the most optimistic projection for this month is confirmed, the country could reach a record.
For corn, Anec kept the shipment forecast for this month unchanged at around 30,000 tons.
