The president of Mexico Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) reported that he held a meeting with the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, in order to analyze the plan of actions against the pandemic of coronavirus in the capital of the country.
Through his Twitter account, the representative of the Executive branch added that members of the federal government’s health sector were also present.
At the meeting AMLO and Sheinbaum evaluated the expansion of Beds, teams and doctors both for Mexico City and for other states.
The president pointed out that this Sunday the vaccination against COVID-19 in the medical staff, after a second shipment of immunizations arrived yesterday Saturday morning Pfizer and BioNTech.

Second batch of doses against COVID-19 arrives

During the reception ceremony at the International Airport of the capital, the general director of the National Center for the Health of Children and Adolescents (Censia) of the Ministry of Health, Miriam Veras Godoy, reported that of the 42,900 doses received yesterday, 34,125 are destined for the Mexico City and 8,775 for the state of Coahuila.
Immunization will be carried out in a staggered manner
