A A policewoman died this Sunday afternoon after a chase that led to a crash at kilometer 3 of Route 86, in the district of Necochea.
The incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m., when the victim and his uniformed partner set out on a patrol car to chase a car that, shortly before, had been parked in the streets 59 and 24 of Necochea. According to preliminary versions, in the shooting there was a couple arguing and, as it transpired, the woman had requested help.
Apparently, when the police personnel arrived at the scene, the driver of that vehicle decided to escape at full speed and it was then that the pursuit began, since the suspect would not have complied with the loud voice before the sound of the patrol car’s sirens.
According to the information published by the Necochense press, it was in this context that the collision between the police mobile and the Ford Fiesta vehicle, which caused the death of the uniformed woman, who was the mother of two children. In addition, his partner had to be hospitalized, as well as the 36-year-old man and the 26-year-old woman who were driving in the other vehicle.
Members of the Necoche Prosecutor’s Office No. 3They began to investigate the incident and ordered the Scientific Police to carry out expert reports in the framework of a case entitled “Homicide and injuries.”
