A patera arrives in the north of Lanzarote with 32 occupants, 9 of them minors

Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, Apr 2. (EFE) .- A dinghy has made landfall early this Friday on the coast of Haría, north of Lanzarote, where its 32 occupants, including nine possible minors and two women, have disembarked in good health, according to has informed the Consortium of Emergencies of that island.

The Civil Guard was notified at 07:30 hours of the arrival of this basket.

The patera, which also carried twelve bottles of gasoline, has been able to reach the shore of La Garita beach in Arrieta by its own means, sources have specified.

Its occupants, all afebrile and without symptoms of covid-19, have referred upon their arrival that they had left the coastal city of Safi, in western Morocco, and that they had been on board for three days.
