The Municipality confirmed this Sunday that they were detected 268 cases of coronavirus in Mar del Plata, a new death and 117 people who received medical discharge. With these records, the infections total 31,346 and the deaths are 1,098 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The report of the Health Secretary indicated that of the 268 cases of COVID-19, 30 correspond to cases defined by epidemiological clinical criteria and 238 to PCR studies carried out from December 28 to January 2. People with the disease reached 2,749.
According to the part that the Municipality issues daily according to what is detailed by the Argentine Integrated Health Information System (SISA), it was confirmed that 117 patients were discharged, so there are 27,499 people who overcame the virus.
Meanwhile, the SISA reported a new deathThis is a 74-year-old man who was admitted to a health institution.
Thus, since the beginning of the pandemic, 31,346 cases have been detected, of which 2,749 remain active, 27,499 were recovered and 1,098 fatalities.
Finally, in the city there are 26 patients admitted to intensive care, of which 15 require mechanical ventilation.
