15 CDMX police officers arrested for the murder of a minor in Naucalpan

Fifteen police officers from the capital and a driver of a private vehicle were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for their probable participation in the murder of a minor that occurred in Naucalpan, State of Mexico.

According to the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office, the detained motorist was driving a car to reach a white truck, which the murdered 17-year-old was driving, which possibly would have hit his unit on the side and later fled through streets of the Azcapotzalco mayor’s office.

The persecution ended in the municipality of Naucalpan, State of Mexico, where self-patrols arrived with several soldiers. Shots were fired at the truck at the site, injuring the driver, who later died.

The vehicles involved, together with the preventive police and the driver of the car, were at the disposal of the social representative of the Territorial Investigation Prosecutor’s Office in Azcapotzalco, where the folder for the crime of intentional homicide is integrated.

Agents of the Investigative Police of Mexico City conduct interviews with various witnesses to the events and analyze images from public and private video surveillance cameras, in order to clarify the crime and establish responsibilities.

Meanwhile, personnel from the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of the SSC, took knowledge of the facts and initiated the corresponding administrative and legal procedures at the internal level, and will assist and collaborate in the ministerial investigations.

As part of the proceedings, personnel from the General Coordination of Forensic Investigation and Expert Services, experts in criminology, photography, and chemistry were intervened.
